Year in Review - 2020
Ouf. What a year it has been. The highest of highs and definitely the lowest of lows.
I’m still licking my wounds after one of the most tragic periods of my life. The tremendous loss of my adored and wonderful father Edward this past April; working hard to see my business flourish, trying to put on a brave face for those around me when some days you just can’t see a speck of light at the end of a very long and dark tunnel. All in the midst of a global pandemic to top it all off...
I’ve never been one for New Years resolutions. They’ve always been cliché to me. Why wait until the new year to set goals and change your mindset? In the ideal world, we should have ongoing goals and go after them daily right? Wroonggg.
A huge goal for you may not be for someone else. We need to stop putting so much pressure on ourselves and just be. Be lazy, be happy, be fit. or not. Read more, sleep more, less screen time, meditate, don’t drink too much, eat too much... The reality of it is, it’s just too much.
Let’s try to focus on one thing at a time. For many of us, this year has taught us that we are in fact way more resilient than we give ourselves credit for. That even though we have no clue when or if this pandemic will ever end, we need to continue to trek forward with as much determination, drive and focus as we are capable of and that it’s ok. It’s ok not to be ok. Keep treking my friends . One day at a time.
A heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of you for your support, enthusiasm and encouragement. For welcoming JETELOVE with open and loving arms this past year.
I truly am forever grateful.
Please keep spreading the love, no matter how small the dose.
Bonne année, Happy New Year
